Dr. Joo graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Dental School(Rutgers).
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Joo accepted commission to join the US Navy, completing general practice residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. Dr. Joo went on to complete Navy’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, serving as a Chief Resident in his final year. He served total 12 years in the US Navy, stationed all around the world.
He is a Diplomate of ABOMS and is a Fellow of AAOMS. In his spare time, Dr Joo enjoys working on his cars and participating in weekend racing events.
