Born and raised right here in Lancaster County, Dr. Jonathan Shue is proud to be serving the community he has always called home. A Penn Manor High School graduate, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Millersville University before achieving summa cum laude honors at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While there, he was inducted into the prestigious Matthew Cryer Honor Society—an achievement reserved for the top ten graduates of each class.
Following dental school, Dr. Shue served his country in the United States Air Force, where he completed advanced training in General Dentistry and served as both a dentist and an officer. Driven by his passion for creating confident smiles, he later pursued his orthodontic residency at The Ohio State University.
Today, Dr. Shue is back in Lancaster with his wife and two children, excited to care for local families. For him, orthodontics is about much more than straightening teeth—it’s about boosting confidence, improving overall oral health, and creating a welcoming experience for every patient.
A committed professional, Dr. Shue is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the National Advocacy Network, and the American Dental Association. When he’s not crafting beautiful smiles, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors through gardening and hiking, playing sports, challenging friends to board games, or spending quality time with his family.
