Dr. Nicolaescu strongly believes that a beautiful smile is the greatest gift, and he is excited to share in this life-changing experience with our patients. He truly enjoys the practice of orthodontics and loves the confidence that our patients gain when they see their new smile.
Dr. Nicolaescu, also known as “Dr. Nic” to his patients, is a proud graduate of Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. After attending college at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, he returned to the area and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nic was inducted in the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, an organization reserved for the top ten graduates of each class. After receiving his DMD, he remained at UPenn to complete the Orthodontic residency program.
After finishing school, Dr. Nic spent four years working in private practice outside of Philadelphia and taught part-time clinical orthodontics at UPenn. He has since moved back to his former hometown, Manheim Township. He is excited to be part of a dynamic team that provides high quality, state-of-the-art orthodontic care in a compassionate, comfortable, and energetic environment.
Dr. Nicolaescu is an active member of various professional associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. He is an avid reader of history and enjoys sailing, drawing, and outdoor activities.
