Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Sacks is extremely experienced and has a great chair-side manner putting his patients at ease with his skill, his knowledge, and his soothing personality.

Fred R. Sacks, DMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a DMD degree and went on to complete his Oral Surgery Residency at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Dentistry. His hospital training was completed at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Sacks served for two years in the Air Force and was Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mather AFB in Sacramento California.

Upon return to the Delaware Valley, following his Air Force commitment, he served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chester, PA for four years.

In addition to directing oral surgery at Smilebuilderz, Dr. Sacks serves as Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for a large multi-specialty dental group in the Philadelphia area.

He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In his free time, Dr. Sacks enjoys racquetball, golf and photography.
