Periodontist
Dr. John Nikas received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, in 1983, where he also received his DMD in 1986. He then received his certificate in periodontology from Temple University Dental School.
In 1990 he received additional training in the field of dental implants and has specialized in this area ever since. He has extensive experience in the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry.
In addition to his own practice, he was associated with a multi-specialty practice in Pittsburgh from 1996 – 2006.
In his free time, Dr. Nikas spends time with his wife, Georgia and their two children, Alexandra, 5 and John Peter, 1. He loves tasting new wines, traveling and works out regularly.
