General Dentist

Dr. Bui comes to SmileBuilderz by way of Ho Chi Minh City in South Vietnam, where she grew up. While there she attended the Le Hon Phong High School for the Gifted and won numerous prizes in Vietnamese literature and English competitions.

She received her B.S. in 1999, graduating cum laude from the University of the Pacific in California. She was awarded the Outstanding Graduating Senior prize from the chemistry department.

She was awarded her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2007. While there, she participated as a volunteer providing dental education and screening for children and adults in her community.

Dr. Bui has the distinction of being the first and only recipient of a full fellowship from the Vietnam Education Foundation. These distinguished scholars are selected by a panel that includes such prestigious committee members as Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Ph.D., Senator John Kerry and Dr. Malcom Gillis, Chairman & Zinger Professor of Economics at Rice University.

She joined SmileBuilderz because she was attracted immediately to the team, staff and our practice philosophy. And we’re lucky to have her!

In her free time, Dr. Bui loves to travel. She also plays the piano and spends as much time with friends as possible. In the near future, she plans to teach at Penn Dental.
